Dual Nationality
We have brought in a right of citizenship to all Cameroonians.
To tackle the Dual Nationality issue which have left people reluctant to venture into their country of birth, we will irresponsibly promote and strengthened Dual nationality we will use our powers to dismantle this conundrum so that people that are of Cameroon born but living abroad and holding foreign passports should not be restricted from Cameroon. We have brought in a right of citizenship to all Cameroonians.
We are proud to be the party that will legislate first dual nationality rights with no hatred and barriers – and we will reverse the CPDM attempt to undermine this legislation, invoking this into Parliament Act if necessary to force it through.
Dual Nationality is a concern and must be looked into. We will redress this issue by acknowledging dual Nationality considering that a Cameroon is fair for all Cameroonians not just for a few. Citizenship is by birth and Nationality can be acquired. Nationality does not cancel your right of citizenship. Our Citizenship should not be discriminated for any political achievements. Dual Nationality in Cameroon is accepted along party and tribal lines.
For example, if Etoo Fils is has acquired a Spanish nationality, because he is Franco- Cameroonians he is allowed to swap nationalities at will while other Cameroonians with foreign nationalities are not allowed. Dual Nationality should be discriminated, Tribalized or politicized. As far as our birth right is from Cameroon, we remains Cameroon Nationals in respective of what other country Passport you have during your live adventure.
